We provide Premium and Standard grade Almen Strips which exceed the strict demands of the Aerospace Material Specification AMS2432 as well as The Society of Automotive Engineered SAE J442 standard, and we supply certification for each lot number we supply.
Almen Strips
Abrasive Materials proudly offers Almen Strips that consistently meet or exceed specifications called out in SAE J442, AMS2432.
ALL our Almen Strips have a lot number and size printed directly on the strip for traceability. Almen Strips are washed in a rust preventative solution prior to printing and are also packaged in rust preventative plastic bags; each with RP chips to prevent corrosion prior to being packaged.
Available Packaging Types:
- Individual boxes with 50 strips of A, or N strips or 25 C strips
- Bulk Cartons with 1000 strips of A or N strips or 50 C strips
Almen Strips can be packaged in cartons of 50 strips each (25 strips each for our “C” Almen Strips) or bulk packaged in boxes of 1,000 each (500 strips for our “C” Almen Strips).
Almen Strips are sold in increments of 50 strips. Pricing is determined upon type (standard or premium grade), and quantity purchased.
Certificates of Conformance are included with every shipment of Almen Strips, free of charge. Each certificate references your purchase order information, specification and details specific to your shipment.
